Three recent articles

1. A mentor introduced me to journaling over twenty years ago. It took me that long, unfortunately, to embrace the ritual of journaling. The Daily Stoic covers the art of journaling, how to journal, the benefits of journaling and more.

2. I recently wrote an article on learnings from my recent professional role transition: Top-10 list on how to approach your professional transition as an opportunity to create value for yourself and others (3 min read).

3. List of books approved for sale at Berkshire Hathaway's annual meeting by Bookworm Omaha (5 min read).

Topic of the week: Empathy

Dr. Brene Brown is a professor at University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work. In the below excerpt from a speech given at the RSA, she reminds us that we can only create a genuine empathic connection if we are brave enough to really get in touch with our own fragilities. Empathy is about connection.
